Oastler
Lake
August 2004
We decided to try a new camp this
year. Oastler Lake was listed as a Recreational Park in the Ontario Parks
directory, but we were a little disappointed in its offerings. There were
no playgrounds or trails, just a beach. The weather was too cool to make
use of the water, so we stayed mostly at camp, and took a few walks around the
park. This year we were joined by our good friends, the Abras. Jen
and Chad, along with their boys, Keagan and Kurtis, had their first camping trip
as a family. Here are our limited pics, as our trip was cut short:
Ti's coming back from taking a walk by the lake. Our site was on the top
of a cliff, overlooking the sparkling water.
A crisp morning can bring beautiful sunrises. The mist was just rising off
the lake when this picture was taken.
Ahhh, the lovebirds ... taking trips together down the pathway, and staring at the lake ... We often found Ti and Keagan like this.
