Grundy Lake

Our trip to Grundy this
year marked Timber's first camping adventure.
The weather was cold, rainy and very windy, so we weren't
able to get out on the lakes as much as we would have liked,
but we had a great time just the same.

We set up our tent on the
night we arrived, but a terrible storm forced us into the truck.
We ended up sleeping in the box for the whole trip.
One
advantage to being land - bound is that we got to do some hiking. Grundy
Lake has some wonderfully scenic trails, and Ti enjoyed her time close to Daddy.

We did manage a couple of outings in the
canoe. Timber found the rocking very
soothing, and slept for most of the ride.

Being out
on Lake Pekashgag paid off this time. The cold, wet weather was perfect
for Pike fishing.
Nice catch Mark!
